Life is inherently problematic for all; the Torah doesn't promise to eliminate difficulties or grant an easy life. Instead, it provides purpose and tools to cope, teaching that struggles are divine kindness for spiritual growth and atonement. Just as a fish needs water, a Jew needs constant Torah learning, regardless of any circumstance, to thrive spiritually. Immersing in Torah and performing overwhelming kindness transforms suffering, giving problems meaning and guiding one to a better place.
