How much should a Torah Jew worry about the economy versus trusting in Hashem?

A Torah Jew should never worry about the economy or future needs; such worry signifies a profound lack of emunah (knowing Hashem controls every detail of the world). Relying on worldly factors instead of divine providence reflects a goyish mindset. Worrying is dangerous: Hashem, acting measure-for-measure, can bring about the very fears one harbors. While a reasonable effort (hishtadlut) is necessary, it must be accompanied by complete trust in Hashem's provision, not anxiety. True emunah, the antidote to all worry, is cultivated through constant Torah learning and dedicated observance.
