True Jewish leadership demands *yirat Shamayim* (fear of Heaven), a non-negotiable Torah requirement. Anyone lacking it, including many present-day politicians—even outwardly religious ones—is forbidden from leading Am Yisrael. These "false shepherds" often contradict Torah values and neglect Torah scholars. Even essential political involvement, exemplified by Mordechai, is spiritually subordinate to Torah study; we must learn from Torah scholars, not politicians. An Am Yisrael fully devoted to Hashem would render politicians unnecessary, ushering in the Mashiach era.
