Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 23, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the BH Torah website (bhtorah.org) and related digital services, and the BeEzrat HaShem Torah Hotline (together, the “Service”), operated by BeEzrat HaShem Inc. (“BeEzrat HaShem,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Florida not-for-profit corporation and U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. By accessing or using the Service — including by calling the Torah Hotline — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
The Service may include, among other things: Torah lectures and educational content; a Questions & Answers feature, which may use AI to generate responses; the BeEzrat HaShem Torah Hotline, a telephone service offering recorded or live Torah content, an AI voice assistant, and the ability to request certain information by text message (see Section 10); and donation and, where offered, subscription functionality. We may add, change, or discontinue particular features of the Service at any time; we do not guarantee that any specific feature will remain permanently available.
3. Educational and Religious Content Disclaimer
The Service provides Torah, halachic, and other religious/educational content for informational and educational purposes. It is not a substitute for personalized guidance from a qualified rabbi or other appropriate professional. For questions requiring individualized halachic, medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice, you should consult a qualified human authority. You remain responsible for decisions you make based on content accessed through the Service.
4. AI-Generated Content
Some features of the Service — including parts of our Questions & Answers feature and the Torah Hotline's voice assistant — use artificial intelligence to generate responses based on Torah and related source material. AI-generated responses may be incomplete, out of date, or contain errors, and should not be treated as a guaranteed, authoritative, or professional answer. See Section 3 above regarding matters requiring individualized professional guidance.
5. Accounts and Acceptable Use
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity that occurs under your account, and for notifying us of any unauthorized use.
Our educational content is intended for a broad audience and may be accessed by people of all ages. Activities such as creating an account, providing personal information, donating, subscribing, or using certain interactive features, however, require the legal capacity to agree to these Terms. Where applicable law requires the involvement or consent of a parent or legal guardian for a minor to take any of those actions, that activity should occur with that parent's or guardian's involvement and consent.
You agree not to:
- misuse the Service or use it for any unlawful purpose;
- impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization;
- attempt fraud, or provide false information to obtain services, donation processing, or account access;
- interfere with or disrupt the operation of the Service (including the Torah Hotline);
- access or attempt to access the Service using unauthorized automated means (bots, scrapers) except through any interfaces we expressly make available; or
- otherwise engage in unlawful activity in connection with the Service.
We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these Terms.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, and its design, software, and original content, are owned by BeEzrat HaShem Inc. or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. Torah lectures, articles, audio, video, and other content made available through the Service are for your personal, non-commercial use only; except as permitted by these Terms or with our express written permission, you may not distribute, duplicate, broadcast, or otherwise reproduce that content. Source material cited in AI-generated answers (including halachic texts) remains the property of its respective rights holders. You retain ownership of questions you submit, and by submitting them you grant us a license to use them to operate, provide, and improve the Service.
7. Donations
BeEzrat HaShem Inc. is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations to BeEzrat HaShem Inc. are generally intended to be tax-deductible for U.S. donors to the extent permitted by applicable U.S. law; we do not guarantee the deductibility of any particular donation, and you should consult your own tax advisor regarding your specific circumstances. If you are donating from outside the United States, you are responsible for determining the tax treatment of your donation under the laws of your own jurisdiction. We issue donation receipts. Donations are generally non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or where we determine, in our discretion, that a refund is appropriate (for example, to correct a processing error or duplicate charge).
8. Payments and Subscriptions
Where the Service offers paid subscriptions or other paid features, payment processing may be performed by third-party processors such as Stripe, and your payment is also subject to that processor's own terms. Prices, billing frequency, and other subscription details are as shown to you at the time of purchase or in your account/subscription-management experience. You may generally cancel a subscription at any time through your account or subscription-management experience; except as required by law, payments already made are non-refundable.
9. The BeEzrat HaShem Torah Hotline
The Torah Hotline is a telephone service that may offer recorded or live Torah content and an AI voice assistant that can answer questions and, at your request, provide certain follow-up information by text message (see Section 10, SMS Terms).
If you have an existing subscription or account, the Torah Hotline may let you check your account or subscription status. The Torah Hotline does not change, cancel, upgrade, or otherwise modify your subscription, or process billing changes, by voice. Where an account-management action is available, the hotline may instead send you a text message with a link to a secure website or account-management experience where you can complete that action yourself. If additional voice-driven account-management capability is enabled in the future, we will update these Terms accordingly.
10. SMS / Text Messaging Terms
Program name: BeEzrat HaShem Torah Hotline.
Program description: This program sends transactional/service text messages that you specifically request during a call to the BeEzrat HaShem Torah Hotline — for example, a donation link, a requested account-management link (where available), or other information you asked for during the call. It is not a marketing or promotional messaging program, and calling the hotline does not, by itself, sign you up for recurring text messages.
- Message frequency varies and depends on what you request during your call(s).
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out of further text messages from the hotline at any time.
- Reply HELP for help, or contact us at bhkiruv@beezrathashem.org.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Consent to receive a text message is not a condition of making a donation or any purchase.
- See our Privacy Policy for how we handle mobile information and SMS data.
11. Third-Party Services and Links
The Service may link to, or rely on, third-party services (such as our payment processor, telephone/messaging carriers, and AI providers described in our Privacy Policy) and third-party websites. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the content, availability, or practices of third-party services or websites; your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.
12. Availability and Modification of the Service
We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee that any particular feature — including the Torah Hotline, specific lectures, or the Questions & Answers feature — will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, temporarily or permanently, at any time.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY REGARDING THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF AI-GENERATED OR OTHER CONTENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BEEZRAT HASHEM INC. AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR (B) USD $50.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BeEzrat HaShem Inc. from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third party's rights.
16. Termination and Suspension
You may stop using the Service, or ask us to delete your account, at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service or the affected feature. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law) will survive.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be communicated on the Service or, where appropriate, by email. Continued use of the Service after a change becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
