Am I one of those people who only wants to hear what makes me comfortable?

Many seek "Rabbi Noach"—a comfort-giving leader who validates their desires, "shopping" for palatable answers. True inquiry, however, demands accepting God's answers, even if uncomfortable; if unwilling to listen, don't ask. Rejecting unwelcome advice makes further discussion pointless. The real question is: Are you genuinely seeking truth and willing to change by Torah, or merely validation for your current lifestyle? Only seeking comfortable answers leads nowhere.
