He explains that teshuva is a process and requires making big changes in our lives, not just small steps. Rabbi Reuven also emphasizes the importance of evaluating the success of our efforts in making teshuva and doing kiruv (outreach). He highlights that facing difficulties and tests is often a sign that teshuva and kiruv efforts are working and that the Yetzer Hara (evil inclination) is being weakened.
