The best way to prepare for Chanukah is to educate ourselves to ensure we don't fall victim to the mentality of the ancient Greeks that tried to destroy us. Rabbi Yaron Reuven says, the Greeks just wanted the Jews to think that HaShem created the world and left, and doesn't care about what goes on.
